Gaga Ooh La La. Mother Monster Brings “Joanne” To The Wells Fargo Center

By Nicole Sgro

For two nights Mother Monster brought “Joanne” to the Wells Fargo Center and Philly fans are wanting more of “Mother Monster”

Gaga put on a show that was 2 hours of non-stop energy that had you on your feet dancing and singing along (I have a case of party girl voice as I write this) while moving you to tears as she shared how the songs came to be as well as the meaning. One emotional moment was when she shared who “Joanne” is with the audience.

Gaga, born Stefani Joanne Angeline Germanotta, was named after her Father’s sister who passed away when he was just 15 years old and as Gaga revealed, her father still gets emotional when speaking about his sister. So, before I get anymore tears on my keyboard let me move on to the set list.

Of course, there was the obligatory performances of Just Dance, Poker Face, Applause, Bad Romance, and Born This Way but she threw in Love Game, Alejandro, and Angel Down as well as some unreleased songs like John Wayne and Dancing in Circles. As if that wasn’t enough to exhaust you she then belts out as only she can Telephone and Edge of Glory (dedicated to her sister). To close she sang A Million Reasons and bid her monsters farewell until we meet again.

Bravo young lady for bringing the fans into the show and making them feel united as one and helping us all forget our troubles.
