On Monday September 18th, it will be the 10th Anniversary of the passing of Pepsi Tate, bass player and founding member of UK Glam legends Tigertailz who died of Pancreatic cancer.
Today Tigertailz is remembering Pepsi in two ways, the first was to release a new version of their classic song “Fall in Love Again”, off their first album “Young and Crazy”, which was released in 1987.
The second is that tonight in Nottingham, England Tigertailz is taking the stage in Pepsi’s home town in a show they are calling “An Evening for Pepsi”
They redid “Fall in Love Again” a few years back with a different lineup of the band, this new version features the band’s backup singer Suzi Chunk, who worked with Pepsi on his last album before his passing Thrill Pistol.
Jay Pepper the band’s only remaining original member says “It was very important to us that we never forget him, and in doing this very special evening ten years on since losing him, we hope everyone can come together and celebrate him for everything he was and remember what he brought to us all, and what he brought to TIGERTAILZ.
“The single can be pre-ordered from all the usual digital platforms and all proceeds will go to the charity set up in Pepsi‘s name, AmserJustinTime.”
